Provides an emergency shelter, transitional and supportive housing, a food pantry and lunch program and financial assistance. SERVICES: 1) EMERGENCY SHELTER: Provides a drug/alcohol free emergency shelter for men, women and children for up to 30-90 days. Call for availability. Residents receive case management, counseling and other supportive services. 2) TRANSITIONAL HOUSING: Accepts families with children for up to 2 years in the Anchor House. Residents receive case management, counseling and other supportive services. 3) SUPPORTIVE HOUSING: Provides long term housing for single females without children. 4)FOOD PANTRY: Offers non-perishable and perishable food items Tue, 2-4PM, Wed, 5-7PM & Thur, 2-4PM. Food available one time per month on a walk-in basis. A picture ID is required, since this program is ONLY for Anne Arundel county residents. 6) BAG LUNCH: Provides a bag lunch to anyone. Held Mon-Fri, 11AM-Noon.7) FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Assists individuals the 1st Mon of each month,(must be there before 7:30AM). Walk-in basis. Assists with eviction prevention or utility turn-off. Funds are usually depleted in two hours. This program will pay the last $125 for a utility bill and the last $200 for an eviction. Must have ID, eviction or utility turn-off notice, proof of other resources for the unpaid bill and proof of any assistance received from other agencies. Available ONLY for Anne Arundel county residents.
