Services:
To help people help themselves by offering a myriad of emergency and empowerment services to anyone in need, they are providing a hand up, not a hand out.  They recognize that suffering, destitution, and hunger are not limited to one class.  They are dedicated to assisting those in need by providing clothing, food, direct services, access to programs, disaster emergency services, and education to the illiterate for betterment.  In their undertaking to eradicate hunger and poverty, they are there to provide a solution, whenever possible, for those less fortunate.

Entiat Food Bank began in 1985 and was supported by the community residents. It moved from a private home to its present location at 2188 Entiat Way and in 1995, Entiat Food Bank changed its name to Entiat Valley Food Bank and was sponsored by Entiat Valley Services Club. At that time 2237 families were provided food once a month, it has increased to 3663 families since then and provides food twice a month providing an average of 40,000 lbs of food per year. Three volunteers operated the food bank in its beginning; over 40 volunteers have been trained who have served at the food bank.
