Services:
Hope Haven of DeKalb County provides two main programs: emergency shelter for families and single men and women for up to 90 days, and transitional shelter for families for up to 2 years. An intake interview and police check regarding outstanding warrants is required. (If a person has an outstanding warrant, the police will be contacted). On site educational classes may be mandated if a resident has no high school diploma. Hope Haven also provides screening and support services to chronically homeless adults with disabilities who are housed in the Dresser Court apartments Some Spanish is spoken.

Eligibility:
Applicants must be at least 18 years old if they seek emergency shelter and all applicants must be residents of DeKalb County for at least 6 months. They must be able to provide a picture ID as proof of residency and must have no outstanding warrants.
