Religious Community Services provides a soup kitchen, food pantry, and emergency food assistance.

The Soup Kitchen serves a hot meal 7 days a week, 364 days each year The Soup Kitchen is open Monday - Friday, 10:30 a.m. - 11:45 p.m., and Saturday - Sunday, 3:30 p.m. - 4:45 p.m.

The Emergency Food Assistance Program is coordinated with Craven County DSS Contact RCS for specific information.

Someone requesting food must present a picture ID, their DOB and SSN. Without proper identification they can still receive enough food for one day. On the first visit to the food pantry you will see a case worker who will assist you. Once proper identification has been presented, the person or family will receive enough food to feed the household three meals a day for one week. They may return once every three months, more with special approval.
