Services: If a person received help last year, they must wait for the 2012 funding to arrive to apply for help.We assist low-income households with utility bill assistance once in a calendar year. We also assist these households with weatherization of their homes, if needed, to help reduce the cost of their energy bill.We process only complete applications, and if approved, a pledge will be made on your utility account and the application is entered into a database and those files are transferred to the State's database for payment. The payment will then show up on your utility company bill in 8 to 12 weeks.For propane or kerosene, we pay the utility company within 30 to 60 days
