Services include Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) or Family Assistance, Safety Net Assistance (for single individuals or childless couples), and food stamp benefits. Child care subsidies are available to low income families to enable them to afford child care and continue to work. May use a registered or informal provider or a relative.

Services: Offers services to aid those receiving assistance to build the skills, and find the resources to move off of assistance and to sustain long term stability. Aids those that are in a domestic violence situation to find housing, and additional resources to gain stability away from their abusers. Provides financial assistance to individuals and families who are facing possible homelessness including rent and utility payment assistance, rent and utility security deposit assistance, and moving expenses assistance. Help with rental and utility arrears may also be available.
Eligibility: Domestic abuse services are by referral only. Must have a denial from HEAP to apply for electric and heating payment assistance. Arrears can only be applied up to 6 months prior to applying. Rental assistance cannot be applied to first month's rent. Housing must be ongoing affordable according to current income and pass an inspection.
