To provide emergency services to people in need and/or experiencing a crisis in their lives who need a little help. Services include: food, clothing, rent, utilities (gas, electric water), prescription, dental (limited) and transportation (gas voucher/bus tickets - in city only) assistance. Doorstep is linked with other emergency aid agencies via the ClientTrack computer system. Eligibility will be checked for all services. Food may be received once every eight weeks from wherever you received it last. Clothing is once every two weeks. Rent and utility assistance may be received, if funding is available, one time in a 12-month period. Prescription and transportation assistance may be received two times in a 12-month period, at least six months apart, if the maximum assistance is not met on the first visit. Dental assistance is available one time per household and we do not pay past bills. Emergency extractions and enrollment fees only.
