Provides rent subsidies/vouchers for up to 80 consumers. Applicants are placed on a waiting list and preference is given to extremely-low-income households with at least one family member having an AIDS diagnosis. Medical and income eligibility are verified when applicants are pulled from the waiting list. This program is designed to help individual households, rather than subsidizing particular rental projects. This type of assistance moves with the tenantif the household no longer wishes to rent a particular unit, the household may take its TBRA and move to another rental property.
