Services: *Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program: provides financial assistance for a portion of home heating bills for the winter months, emergency fuel deliveries, and assistance with furnace repairs or replacement. Qualified applicants may be eligible for Weatherization services in order to reduce the cost of energy consumption in their homes.
*Self-Sufficiency Development: FaDSS and Community Partners provide support through a home visiting process to assist families moving from welfare to work as well as to work with families coping with multiple challenges to self-sufficiency including financial crises or financial management.

HEALTHY CHOICES/HEALTHY FAMILIES: Get ideas for quick healthy meals,smart snack ideas, dealing with picky eaters and how to make food dollars stretch.
KIDS BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL: Provides before and after school care at :
Blackhawk, Cunningham, Irving, Kingsley, Kittrell, Lincoln, Lou, Henry, Lowell and McKinstry Schools in Waterloo
LAS CHICAS: A program for Latino girls ages8-18. Participate in a variety of activities from goal setting, service activities, recreational, educational to cultural awareness activities
LATINO MOMS: Provides an opportunity for moms of Hispanic descent to meet and socialize English lessons are available.
LATINO SERVICES: Services provided by bilingual staff to address needs of Latino families. Includes translation, interpretation, referrals, and job assistance services.
PASS(PARENTS ACHIEVE SUCESS W/ SUPPORT): Program for parents between ages of 21-25. Focus on self-sufficiency and parenting skills. Snacks and child care provided at no cost to participants.
PARENT EDUCATION: Prevention program utilizing teen parents to present realities of teen parenting. Programs are scheduled.
RECREATION SERVICES: Anyone interested in fitness, recreation, physical skills classes.
RESIDENCE PROGRAM: Housing for women. Rooms are single occupancy. One room is handicapped accessible. Kitchen and laundry facilities are available
STORKS NEST: Provides parents with supplies, equipment and services for effective parenting Provides a store for baby equipment and apparel.
SUMMER DAZE DAY CAMP: A summer day care program which offers a wide range of activities. Breakfast and lunch are provided free.
SUMMER MEALS: Offers breakfast and lunch for youth during the summer months This program runs June 20th-July 29th
YPT: Hudson Elementary, Lincoln, Hanson, North Cedar at Lincoln Elementary in Cedar Falls
WIZE GIRLS: This program for girls in 6th, 7th or 8th grade that meets weekly during school year The girls participate in recreation and community activities
