1) Friendship House on Hwy 12 offers clothing on Tu, 9am-Noon, (first ten items are free, $.10-$.25 per item thereafter; 2) up to $100 assistance once per year to pay utility bill or heating fuel after qualifying; 3) food vouchers for $20 for local Piggly Wiggly grocery store

Services: Tri County Community Council, Inc. offers various programs. Community services include: self-suffiency, transportation, domestic violence, supportive services, youth development, The CSBG (Community Block grant) allows us to pay up to $250 per year for low income children to participate in after school activities-4H, piano music, dance, karate, sports, and in school field trips. For adult self-suffiency we will help fund books for continuing education, clothing for work, supplies/tools/equipment for work, will assist with education, GED test, other testing for employment.Limited rental assistance dependent on funding.
