Services: The Louisiana Housing Finance Agency administers a statewide program to assist qualified; low income families to meet the needs of their household energy bills.
Eligibility: Eligibility for LIHEAP Assistance is based on the applying household total monthly gross income. Applications are processed ona first come first serve basis and payments are made on behalf of the qualified households until funds are exhausted. Eligibility is limited to one payment per a thirteen month period.
Documents To Bring: Apply in person and fill out a LIHEAP Application. Households can apply one time per year.
