Services: Empowers those in need toward goal of self-sufficiency through various programs: 1) Mission Market allows residents to shop for free grocery and toiletry items; 2) Employment Services include GED classes, job training and/or certifications for in-demand jobs, employment workshops and assistance with job search, mock interviews and resume writing; 3) Unity Lending provides small interest-free loans (on case-by-case basis) to meet emergency financial needs, to include rent, mortgage and/or utility assistance; 4) Access Ability provides home visits, food bag delivery and assistance with minor home repairs for the elderly and disabled; 5) free financial coaching and financial education classes; 6) ESL adult education classes. Also operates Thrift Store for purchase of low cost clothing and household goods.
