Any household or clothing items are accepted.4) TRANSPORTATION: Picks clients up at their homes and takes them to places they need to go which include doctor's appointments, grocery stores, and hair appointments. Can only pick up once per week. A small fee for mileage for 20 miles or more one way. Cannot transport wheelchairs.,

SERVICES: 1) FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Provides emergency funds to help prevent utility turn-offs, legal evictions, prescriptions and water bills. For utility turn-offs the client must first get a referral from the Anne Arundel Community Action Partnership, must be MEAPeligible and have gone to DSS to apply for any programs that they are eligible for including MEAP. Clients may receive funds once every 12 months. Must sign in by 1:30PM. Must present ID, address, birth certificates for everyone in the home and social security cards for everyone the home. Will provide up to $100 towards a bill.
