Energy Assistance (LIHEAP Program): one-time payment toward winter utility bills for heating and/or electricity, emergency furnace repair/replacement, reconnection of disconnected utilities, free plastic to weatherize windows.
Senior Services (Livingston County only): information, referral, advocacy, home visits, senior help line.
Education Services: scholarships for adult students.
Affordable Housing: permanent affordable housing for single adults, transitional homes, grant program provides down payment and closing costs assistance, home ownership counseling.
Housing development: local contractors/volunteers help build and rehabilitate neighborhood homes, home maintenance & budget workshops, special financing options, Family and Community Development (FCD) specialists
Countering Domestic Violence (McLean County only): 24 htheir hotline, emergency shelter, court advocacy, counseling services, support/education groups for adults and children, community education.
