Services:
The program provides emergency food for people who live in North Hills, including people who are undocumented and people who are homeless. Service includes groceries and a hot breakfast program. Groceries include canned goods, bread and produce. Baby food is sometimes available. The amount of food varies according to the family size and usually lasts three days. People may receive assistance twice every calendar month for groceries and as often as needed for the hot breakfast. Services:
The program provides emergency food for residents of the West San Fernando Valley, including people who are homeless. Services are provided at two locations. The program provides bags of groceries which contain canned and packaged dried food and USDA surplus food. Infant formula, baby food, and powdered milk may be available. The amount of food varies with family size but it is usually enough to last approximately three days. The program stresses that food is distributed to the address, not to several different residents of the same address. People are eligible for assistance once per month.

Hours:
Monday through Thursday, 10:00am to 3:00pm; Friday, 10:00am to 12:00 noon. New applicants should arrive 30 minutes before closing time to register.

Services:
The program provides clothing and personal goods to foster children in the San Fernando Valley and Antelope Valley. Services include baby clothing and clothing. Children may visit the center twice annually. Service is restricted to children who have been placed by L A County Department of Children's and Family Services in licensed foster homes or with relative caregivers in the San Fernando Valley. New clothing for children of all ages, from newborns to age 18 years is available. Clothing given to children includes layette sets, undergarments, jackets, jeans, t-shirts, sweats and one full week's worth of school clothing. The center also gives children backpacks, books and toys as well as a personal grooming kit. Some used clothing is also available.

Hours:
Tuesday, 9:30am to 4:30pm; Thursday, 1:00 to 4:30pm; and Saturday, 9:30am to 12:00pm. Thursday availability varies; call for availability.

Call the agency for an appointment. Clients and caregivers must present a referral form provided by Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS).
