The St. Vincent de Paul Society (SVDP) is a human services charity that provides a wide variety of services and support. There are 30 SVDP Conferences (chapters) in the Denver Area and based upon available resources each Conference decides what services and support it will provide. Typical services and support include but are not limited to food, clothing, furniture, assistance with medical costs, payment of rent-mortgages-some utilities-transportation, financial counseling, and job counseling & placement. Notre Dame Provides assistance with medical prescriptions, rent, and utilities for low income persons living within parish boundaries. Eligible only for persons living west of Stuart Street, east of Wadsworth Boulevard, south of Florida Avenue, and north of Hampden Avenue. Call for more information and make sure you are eligible, living within the boundaries. If you are eligible you will be able to make an appointment for services. Hours are 9 AM to 4:30 PM. 5100 W Evans Ave. Our Lady of Grace Emergency funds for rent assistance, food, clothing, and a variety of other emergency services are available on an individual basis to low income persons living within the boundaries. Clients must live Alameda to Florida and Federal to Wadsworth. Call to verify you live in boundaries and for availability of funds. Hours are Tuesday (10 AM-1PM) or Friday (10 AM-11 AM).
