Intake procedures for this shelter usually take 2 or 3 days Salvation Army Kare for Kids (KFK), is provided to the children free of cost for the first 28 days and at a low cost for more than that time.

Services: After seeing the success of men in the Barnabas House, the Mission decided to broaden its ministry to include a program specifically for young men. The Anchor Home is a Biblical based program providing an opportunity for men between the ages of 18 and 24 to develop spiritual, physical, mental and emotional skills leading to a successful life and productive citizenship.

Services: Unfortunately, Nashville has few shelters to care for the fastest growing segment of the homeless population: single women and women with children The Family Life Center (FLC) provides Christian support and guidance to homeless women and children as well as food, clothing, shelter and protection from the streets. Additionally, resident advocates at the FLC seek to help women find employment, housing and proper schooling for their children through the city's available resources.
