Provides holiday assistance to families in need, including holiday baskets, items from the toy shop for children, and coats for family members. Families apply for general holiday assistance, and, based on their household size, income and other factors, Salvation Army determines what type of assistance they will receive. All families will receive food. Some limited holiday assistance may be available after close of this program for individuals who make an appointment with the Salvation Army.

Eligibility:
Must be a needy family residing in Wadsworth City, Wadsworth Township, or Sharon Township. Toys available for children up through 17 yrs. old. Coats available to all family members in the household. Assistance may be limited depending on available donations or funds. May not be receiving assistance from any other organization.

Proof of total household income and expenses. I.D. for each family member. Types accepted are: Photo I.D., birth certificate or social security card. Proof of residency.
