Other than food, assistance is on a case by case basis; SCC is very strict as to what information is required, and they require proof of expenses and income in order to justify need. The applicant will be provided a written list of guidelines and requirements to use while completing their application. The applicant is then interviewed to determine eligibility.
Documents To Bring: When clients come to the Sampson Crisis Center, they will sign in, asked their need, and then given the appropriate paperwork to complete. Any documentation needed will be photocopied for their files, with the originals returned to the client. Once the file has been completed they will be interviewed by the Director or Assistant Director, depending on availability. All files are confidential.
