Shelter Care Ministries provides emergency living facilities, up to three months, for homeless families. Transitional shelter is available after that on a sliding scale. A parent must have their child in their custody in order to stay. Additional ministries include a drop-in program for homeless adults with mental illness, and part-time care for the homeless children up to age 5 (Maya's House) providing time for their parents to look for work and housing.
