Services: Shelter Care Ministries provides emergency living facilities, up to three months, for homeless families. Transitional shelter is available after that on a sliding scale. A parent must have their child in their custody in order to stay. Additional ministries include a drop-in program for homeless adults with mental illness, and part-time care for the homeless children up to age 5 (Maya's House) providing time for their parents to look for work and housing.
Hours: 8:00 am-4:30 pm Monday-Friday--closed daily between 12:00 pm-1:00 pm. Maya's House hours: 8:00 am-1:00 pm.

Eligibility: Young mothers must be homeless and between 16 and 21 years of age. Minors must be emancipated or receive approval from the local crisis program. Mothers must be pregnant and/or parenting and have custody of their child.
