Services: - 64 bed homeless shelter which houses eight families/25 individuals for 30 - 90 days. Comfort and service animals are allowed to stay in the shelter with individuals who have them. Average stay is 52 days. - - - Emergency assistance including electric bill payment assistance; gas bill payment assistance; heating fuel bill payment assistance; water bill payment assistance; utility deposit assistance; rent payment assistance (for individuals in danger of being evicted or for people needing first month's rent to get into new housing); rental deposit assistance for individuals in danger of being evicted or for people needing a rental deposit to get into new housing; return to point of origin assistance; general apparel; school clothing; winter clothing; gently used furniture; emergency dental care (dentures and extractions); medications (antibiotics and mental health prescriptions); and homeless motel vouchers when funding is available. Financial assistance for car repairs is also available.
