Community Food Cupboard is designed to provide food to local families who do not currently have the financial means to meet their nutritional needs. There are two types of assistance through the food cupboard: emergency food provided through community food donations and the government food program. The cupboard is able to provide local families in need with other basic necessities such as infant formula, diapers, toiletries, cleaning supplies, and paper products (when available). Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Vouchers are also available occasionally at The Open Line for seniors who meet the income guidelines.

For a long time it seemed to me that real life was about to begin, but there was always some obstacle in the way. Something had to be got through first, some unfinished business; time still to be served, a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life.
