Services: To provide emergency services to people in need and/or experiencing a crisis in their lives who need a little help. Services include: food, clothing, rent, utilities (gas, electric water), prescription, dental (limited) and transportation (gas voucher/bus tickets - in city only) assistance. Food Assistance available every 8 weeks; Clothing available once every two weeks; Rent and Utility Assistance available ONE time in 12 months from any agency as funds are available; Prescriptions and Transportation Assistance available TWO times in 12 months from any agency. Transportation in the form of gas vouchers and city bus tickets for travel to work, job interviews and medical appointments. Dental assistance limited to one time. Will pay to have tooth pulled or enrollment fee for dental clinic as funds are available.

Eligibility: Doorstep is linked with other emergency aid agencies via the ClientTrack computer system. Eligibility will be checked for all services. Food may be received once every eight weeks from wherever you received it last. Clothing is once every two weeks. Rent and utility assistance may be received, if funding is available, one time in a 12-month period. Prescription and transportation assistance may be received two times in a 12-month period, at least six months apart, if the maximum assistance is not met on the first visit. Dental assistance is available one time per household and we do not pay past bills. Emergency extractions and enrollment fees only. If you are not sure if you are eligible, we suggest calling our office to find out before coming in.

Hours: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday. Pantry open from 10 am-2 pm Mon & Fri and 9 am - 4 pm Tues & Thurs.
Eligibility: 150% of the Federal Poverty Level for most services. Other programs have specific qualifications dependent upon the grant. See staff for eligibility.
