Food Stamp Program - Monthly benefits provided through an electronic card that helps low-income households buy the food they need for good health.
FITAP - Cash public assistance program for families with children when their financial resources are insufficient to meet subsistence needs. Benefits are provided through an electronic card. The overall goal is to decrease long term dependency on welfare assistance by promoting job preparation and work.
Kinship Care - Public assistance program that provides cash assistance for eligible children who reside with qualified relatives other than parents.

STEP Program - Strategies to Empower People Program (STEP provides opportunities for work eligible recipients of Family Independence Temporary Assistance Program (FITAP) to receive job preparation, work and supportive services to enable them to leave the program and become self-sufficient. Program activities include (1) any paid employment, including subsidized employment (2) unpaid work experience programs (3) on-the-job training (4) job search/readiness (5) vocational education and job skills training (6) secondary school attendance, GED preparation and education related to employment supportive services may include: childcare, transportation, eyeglasses, hearing aids, medical exams/drug tests necessary for employment, uniforms/clothing, equipment, tools needed for work or training.
