The pantry can be utilized once per month per household and must provide ID and proof of residency. Toiletries and clothing are also available for distribution, if available. - - 2) 12-STEPS RECOVERY MEETINGS: Offers open meetings for Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Gamblers Anonymous (GA) and Overeaters Anonymous (OA) at various times during the week. Call the office for listings or visit website. - - 3) SOCIAL ACTIVITIES: Provides a safe 24 hours recreational club facility where individuals can go and engage in activities such as pool, ping-pong, watch tv and other games. Also offers a fitness gym at a $2 fee for non-members and computer usage at a $5 fee for non-members. The facility holds organized events such as lunches, dinners, dances, talent shows, drumming for recovery and open mic night. Services: OVERVIEW: Provides an emergency shelter for homeless men, women, and families with children. Offers an emergency food pantry and a low cost thrift store to residents in need. Also provides limited financial assistance for homeless prevention and support services for veterans and their families. - - SERVICES: - 1) EMERGENCY SHELTER: Offers a 36 bed emergency shelter for men, women and families. The length of stay varies pending on adherence to shelter rules. - - 2) EMERGENCY FOOD PANTRY: Provides food once a month to Wicomico, Worcester and Somerset County residents (must be a resident for at least 30 days). Formula and baby items are sometimes available. Food is available once a month to clients and is open on Wed-Sat 9AM-1PM. - - 3) HOLIDAY ASSISTANCE 2017: (closed) Thanksgiving & Christmas Baskets are available to clients ONLY of the food pantry.
