November 21st, 10AM-4PM; 22nd, 10AM-7PM and 23rd, 10AM-Noon and 2-4PM. Eligibility determined on a case-by-case basis. Clients will be put on list first. No referral needed. Clients will receive letter regarding distribution date and location. Photo ID and proof of income are required.4) EDUCATION AND JOB-TRAINING PROGRAMS: ESOL is $50 per month for six months; GED preparation is $50 per month for six months; Introduction to Computers is $50 per month for six months; MOS Certification preparation is $50 per month for six months; A+ Certification preparation is $150 per month for six months; and Network+ Certification preparation is $150 per month for six months.5) FOOD PANTRY: Available for those in need. Offers quarterly newsletter and educational brochures and programs on medical, social, and psychological aspects of MS. 2) COUNSELING & SUPPORT: Counselors are available to assess clients needs for support and services. Short-term counseling provided. Other services include peer-led self-help support groups, telephone reassurance, referrals to health and human services, respite care, medical equipment loan closet discount program for new equipment purchases and cab vouchers for medical appointments and MS-related activities. 3) OPERATION JOB MATCH: Offers job preparation and readiness programs. 4) RECREATION PROGRAM: Offers yoga and strengthening programs. 5) ADVOCACY: Advocates on behalf of the client on a variety of issues in regards to policies, procedures and governmental laws. 6) FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Offers financial assistance for rent, utilities, DEM, physical therapy, transport, respite care.
