Must provide ID, Social Security & Medical card for each household member. Pantry Hours are Mon-Fri 9AM-12Noon & 1:30-4PM. Must provide proof of income for the past 30 days of everyone working in the household and food stamp card if client is a recipient. - - 4) RIDGEWAY TRANSITIONAL SHELTER: Offers homeless adult males and females that need shelter or short term placement up to 30 days. Provides meals and assistance in finding jobs, offers basic computer skills and professional dress attire for interviews. Call 410-820-7013 for intake at 4PM. - - 5) AFTER SCHOOL YOUTH PROGRAM: Provides a summer and after school program for children in grades kindergarten thru eighth from 4-5:30PM during each school year between Sept -May. The children are aided with their homework, have visiting guest speakers, go on field trips, and work on various other activities such as praise dancing, arts and crafts, producing skits. - - 6) SUMMER YOUTH PROGRAM: Offers a summer program for up to 20 children in grades kindergarten thru eighth for 6 weeks during summer months. Youths participates in arts, crafts, educational activities and field trips. - - 7) HOLIDAY ASSISTANCE 2017: For Talbot County low-income residents only. - THANKSGIVING BASKETS: Provides food baskets to families in need. Sign-up begins on Oct 24th-Nov 9th. Must provide photo id, social security cards for all household members, proof of residence, proof of income for one month or award letter needed. - - CHRISTMAS BASKETS: Provides food baskets to families in need. Call office for sign-up dates. Supports families that are coping with a variety of significant problems. - - 9) WINTER WEAR WRAP-UP: Offers coats, blankets and outwear give away to needy families on Mon-Fri 10AM-11AM. Collaborates with other churches, local businesses and residents that donate their time and efforts in collecting these items. - - 10) COAT DRIVE: Accepts new or slightly worn coats, jackets or blankets to give to needy families during the fall through winter months. - - 11) DONATIONS: Accepts monetary donations that will help with financial assistance and food items that will stock the pantry and be used for holiday baskets. Food quantity is based on family size. - - 5) TAX ASSISTANCE 2018: Tax preparation starts during the week of Jan 22nd by appointments.
