Services: The Caswell Parish's mission is to end poverty and hunger in Caswell County by empowering its residence.
To meet this goal, the Parish focuses on strengthening Caswell County by meeting the needs of residents in crisis or at-risk situations with the support and combined resources of 26 member churches. Through food, clothing and utility assistance, the Parish gives support to people in need.

Services: The Cristian Help Center is designed to meet emergency needs only in the areas of food, clothes, shelter and financial assistance with utilities, and rent. We have a clothes closet containing donated clothes for the entire famliy. Clothes can be gotten twice per month if needed. We have food pantry with non-perishable foods such as vegetables, canned meats, peanut butter, pastas, cereal, flour and sugar. Food is given to those who qualify for food, one must prove amount of food stamp assistance and income. If income (after bills are paid), or food stamp assistance is below $100 per household member, the family will qualify. A soup kitchen is available to serve a hot meal each weekday at noon. (meals are provided by local chruches and organizations). Also, we are to help with utility bills--not to exceed $100 for first time clients and $50 to $75 for repeats. Financial assistance is given once per year. There may be exceptions in case of fire or other disasters Does not provide direct shelter services but can assist clients in finding access to shelters in other communities.
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-1:30pm. Clients are seen from 9:00am until 11:45am
Eligibility: Must be 18 yrs or older, responsible for welfare of family, (if married, the husband or wife can complete the application). Those in emergency need - we do not discriminate.
Documents To Bring: Come in and bring proof of residence, proof of income and food stamps, proof of bills. We will complete an application. Be sure to have names and ages of all house members of the house. Utility bill should be in name of person applying for assistance.

Services: Community Storehouse exists as a means to one end: the elimination of poverty and hunger in Southside Virginia. Food for Kids provides children, identified by their teacher, counselor, or school nurse, as living in a food-insecure environment with backpacks filled with child-friendly, nutritious foods on Fridays to last weekends away from school. The program is designed to meet the needs of children who rely on resources - such as the free school meal program - as their only, or only reliable, source of food.

Also offer social adjustment and development programs including: Ladies Home League, Men's Fellowship Club, Sunbeams, Girl Guard program, Boy Scouts program, musical instruction, Songsters, Junior Soldiers for children, Corps Cadets fot teens and group worship.

Services: This church provides both a food pantry and soup kitchen, operating simultaneously
Soup kitchen meals are boxed, and the food is taken with the client.
If someone needs emergency food, they can call the church to set up an appointment to receive food.

The third and fourth Wednesday, 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
The soup kitchen and food pantry operate simultaneously.

Services: ACIM runs a food pantry accessible to all Granville County residents.
Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Eligibility: Granville County resident.
Documents To Bring: Clients must bring identification for themselves and any family members or individuals considered to be part of their household. If the client is receiving food stamps, they must also bring the Notice of Action Taken letter that shows their eligibility dates and dollar amount received per month in food stamps.

Services: One Harvest Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational, faith based organization providing grocery boxes at a greatly reduced cost. Local host sites take orders and are distribution points. Orders are placed and received once each month. Telephone orders can be placed with each host site or orders can be made online. A Family Box is available for $35 and will feed a family of four for one week or an individual for one month Frozen meals and other boxes are also available.
