Wait, Please Stop For A Moment.

Obviously, you're looking for food pantries, but there's something else here that could help you.

Millions of people qualify for Social Security benefits, and don't collect them, because they haven't tried.

You Do Not Have To Be Of Retirement Age To Collect Social Security.

It's easier to qualify for social security benefits than it is to fill out all the paperwork and figure out the process of how to obtain them. That's where these guys can help.

So please, continue looking for food pantries, and I hope you find what you need on this website. But don't leave without clicking this link and filling out the online form.

They'll talk to you about your situation and and let you know whether or not you already qualify for Social Security benefits up to $2,671 per month.

It costs you nothing to talk to them and they'll work for you to get you the benefits you deserve. Plus, I make a few dollars when you complete the form.

Services:
Provides low-income residents of Hampshire County with nutritionally-balanced food once a month. This food program is a “choice” program, which means that clients select the exact foods they bring home every month. - Food Pantry & Clothing Distribution Hours: - Mondays 11am – 2pm - Tuesdays 4pm – 7pm - Wednesdays 11am – 2pm - Thursday 4pm – 7pm - Fridays 11am – 2pm - Closed Weekends - - Also has special programs that include: - - Kids’ Summer Food Program - During the summer months, the Northampton Survival Center’s Kids’ Summer Food Program provides eligible children with free food packages to help feed them breakfast and lunch every weekday for ten weeks during summer vacation. Children living in any of the 18 communities in our service area who receive free or subsidized meals through their school are eligible to receive this food. - Every eligible child receives groceries including grains, fruits, vegetables, dairy and protein. Families pick up food for the Kids’ Summer Food Program during our usual pantry hours at the same time that they are getting their regular package of groceries. Both our Northampton and Goshen locations distribute Kids’ Summer Food Program packages. - Fresh Dairy Program - Beginning in March 2013, a popular Fresh Dairy Program replaced powdered milk with fresh milk from Our Family Farms, a local dairy cooperative. For this effort we’ve secured 3-year funding from an anonymous family foundation, and have brokered an excellent deal with the local dairy farmers who are grateful for steady stream of income from this order of hundreds of half-gallons each week. Clients are thrilled because they all prefer fresh milk to powdered, and we know it supports area children in choosing to eat a nutritious breakfast of whole grain cereal and milk, rather than an easy-to-grab sugary alternative. - Thanksgiving - During the month of November, the Northampton Survival Center distributes additional traditional Thanksgiving items such as potatoes, cranberry and squash to each client family when they come in for their regular package of groceries. - Birthdays - Depending on availability, clients can pick up a cake or cake mix for their birthday when they pick up their regular package of groceries. - Cloth Bags - The City of Northampton Single Use Plastic Bag Ban went into effect on January 1, 2016. The Northampton Survival Center is in compliance with this policy and is encouraging clients to bring re-usable cloth bags for packaging their groceries. Grocery store bags, backpacks, and duffle bags can all be used as grocery bags. The Center also has cardboard boxes available for carrying groce - ries. - Personal Care Items - The Northampton Survival Center accepts donations of shampoo, soap, toothpaste or any other toiletries. If we have any of these items available, clients can choose one item each time they come in to pick up their regular package of groceries. - Clothing - The Northampton Survival Center receives regular donations of clothing. Clients can come in once a week to see the clothing items that are available and select what they need for their household. - Pet Food - Dakin Pioneer Valley Humane Society provides the Northampton Survival Center with cat and dog food for our clients’ pets. Based on availability, clients can get one bag of dry food for each pet in their household (limit four) when they pick up their regular package of groceries.

Unnecessary possessions are unnecessary burdens. If you have them, you have to take care of them! There is great freedom in simplicity of living. It is those who have enough but not too much who are the happiest.
