*LIHEAP Crisis Assistance - Assistance available in a life threatening situation for temporary shelter, fuel, blankets, heaters and furnace repair. Furnace replacement assistance for homeowners.
*Weatherization - Assistance with stopping infiltration of cold air into a home. Can include caulking, weather stripping and attic insulation.
*Adopt a Family - Christmas program in Palo Alto and Pocahontas Counties, which allows our needy families to be adopted out for Christmas. The lowest poverty levels are served first. Forms are available to enroll families October 1.
*Holiday Projects - Thanksgiving and Christmas food baskets are given to the elderly or families based upon availability.
