EMERGENCY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE is available on a limited basis for food, rent and utility bills Clients must go through General Assistance first and will been seen by appointment only.
THE FAMILY REMEDIAL SERVICES PROGRAM provides comprehensive support to families to help them address the emotional and behavioral issues of children in the household who maybe suffering from a mental illness A Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) and a trained family care provider works with each family to help address the issues involving mental illness as well as coping skills. Families must qualify for the State of Iowa Medicaid Program to participate and must meet other program eligibility criteria.
EMPLOYMENT help through resume development and assistance with job placement. ICAP site offering online job search through a partnership with Iowa Workforce Development
COMPUTER CLASS and FREE COMPUTER when you complete the class successfully. Meet every Friday from 4:30pm-5:30pm; each class is 6-8 weeks and weekly attendance is expected. Classes are free and open to the public; must register first.
COMPUTER LAB is open for use during the day.
FREE FAMILY PLANNING CLINIC on Thursday 1pm-6pm.
FREE MEAL on Sunday 5pm-6pm.

THE TRAFFIC SAFETY PROGRAM utilizes a mentoring team, and is designed to promote traffic safety by making the community aware of the dangers of driving while distracted or impaired, and injuries or fatalities resulting from the improper use of safety belts.

LATINO FAMILY SUPPORT GROUP on Mondays at 5pm.
YOUNG WOMEN OF VISION GROUP is open to women ages 14-18, providing mentoring and positive support.
YOUTH PROGRAMS including Youth Dialogues (written by youth for the youth), Teen Talk Show, Drop-In Center, and High School Suspension program (Outside the Box).
OUTSIDE THE BOX SUSPENSION PROGRAM personal and academic goals by encouraging students to envision their future, and providing them with the resources necessary to set this plan in action. The Suspension Program assists students with homework assignments and life skills such as anger management, conflict resolution, self esteem, goal setting, time management, and more. Additionally each student is encouraged to complete one hour of community service per day that they are enrolled in the program. Students who successfully complete the program, and do NOT receive an additional suspension during the current school year will receive a FREE refurbished computer.
THE EX-OFFENDER AND FAMILY REUNIFICATION PROGRAM is a comprehensive client-centered program designed to help reduce recidivism and expedite an offender's transition back with his or her family and community. This includes: Education assistance, Employment assistance and Family and Parenting assistance.
RIGHT START is a Mentoring and Support Program for Children of Incarcerated Parents. This includes: emotional support, educational support and assistance with maintaining communication with incarcerated parent (phone cards, transportation and parenting- from- prison resource).
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES are available at the after-school program for children ages 5-12, providing tutoring, etc.
