Funding for rental and utility assistance is typically available at the beginning of the month.
Sometimes other funding sources allow them to provide assistance all month long.
Limited assistance with medical and other miscellaneous services is also available on a emergency need basis.
Once a year they can help a veteran with their prescriptions.
Also provides burial assistance for a veteran, their spouse, or a dependent child under the age of 18.
Eligibility: Must be a current resident of Pierce County.
Must be indigent.
Veteran must show an original copy of his or her discharge papers and proof of ID.
