Must provide proof of income for the past 30 days of everyone working in the household and food stamp card if client is a recipient. 4) EVICTION & HOMELESS PREVENTION: Homeless adult males and females that need shelter or short term placement receive a 30 day stay at the Ridgeway Transitional Shelter. Provides meals and assistance in finding jobs, offers basic computer skills and professional dress attire for interviews. 5) AFTER SCHOOL YOUTH PROGRAM: Provides a summer and after school program for children in kindergarten through eighth grade throughout the school year. The children are aided with their homework, have visiting guest speakers, go on field trips, and work on various other activities such as praise dancing, arts and crafts, producing skits, etc. 6) H0LIDAY ASSISTANCE 2012: For Talbot County residents only. THANKSGIVING: Provides food baskets to families in need. Sign-up begins on October 10th- until the list is full. Must provide photo id, social security cards for all household members, proof of residence, proof of income for one month or award letter needed. CHRISTMAS: Provides food baskets for families in need. Sign up begins on November 5th- 30th. Must provide photo id, social security cards for all household members, proof of residence, proof of income for one month or award letter needed. 7)FAMILY SERVICE PROGRAM:Provides household appliances and furniture to needy families.Supports families that are coping with a variety of significant problems.8)WINTER WEAR WRAP-UP: Offers coats, blankets and outwear give aways to needy families. Collaborates with other churches, local businesses and residents that donate their time and efforts in collecting these items. 9) COAT DRIVE: Accepts new or slightly worn coats, jackets or blankets to give to needy families during the fall through winter months.10) BIRTHDAY BAGS: Provided to families that cannot afford to buy their child a gift for their birthday. Bags may include a cake, toys, music or gift cards.
