Current resident of the city of Ventura. Currently have housing in the city. Only one member of the household may apply for funds. Funds may be used one time in a 12-month period. Agree to allow information to be shared with other VHPF provider organizations in order to prevent a double allocation an to insure the recipient is able to maintain housing once they,ôve received these funds. Case manager must confirm an extraordinary circumstance. They must confirm that these funds are the right funds to access and that the individual is not likely to be right back in the same circumstance within the year. Only the individual who is at risk of homelessness may request the funds.(The landlord or property management or mortgage company cannot request funds; however checks must be made out to those entities.)
