Eligibility: Primarily Native Americans and Non-Native Americans in the service area south of I-696 to Toefer, east to Schoeherr and west to Ryan Rd. Neighbors may NOT refer one another. Non-Native residents may receive food one time only if referred by another human service organization such as the Michigan Department of Human Services (DHS).
Documents To Bring: Must provide proof of income. Must show government issued photo identification; birth certificates and Social Security cards for all children. If ID does not indicate eligibility in designated service area, a current utility bill may be used to establish residency.

CANNOT SERVE RESIDENTS SOUTH OF 9 MILE RD. Center Line residents who are in an emergency situation and unable to access another food pantry. Clients may access pantry one time every 30 days not to exceed 3 visits within a calendar year.

Services: Gleaners collects, warehouses, repacks and distributes in excess of 40 million pounds of food each year for over 600 local agencies in southeastern Michigan. GCFB is a vital link between available food and those who need it the most. GCFB is a member of Feeding America, Food Bank Council of Michigan & United Way for Southeastern Michigan. Support for their programs comes from a variety of sources. Gifts from Individuals, Grants from Foundations, Workplace Giving Campaigns, and Corporate Sponsorship and Cause-Related Marketing are all sources from which they receive generous financial support. These funds used to carry out their mission of feeding hungry people in Michigan.
