EMERGENCY FAMILY LOAN provides loans up to $50 dollars to households to meet emergency needs Loans are low interest and paid back through the local outreach centers.

HEAD START AND EARLY HEAD START provides preschool experience for 3 to 5 year old children including children with disabilities.

IOWA WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT referrals are made from the centers IWD can provide assistance with job placement and/or additional training as needed to eligible households Clarke and Decatur Counties make appointments for IWD staff who meet with families on a regular basis in the outreach centers.

GARDEN SEED AND VOUCHER PROGRAM provides produce seeds to households.

WEATHERIZATION PROGRAM provides assistance with insulation to prepare homes for cold or hot weather.

HOLIDAY PROJECTS undertaken at Christmas to provide families who are unable to provide food and gifts for children due to financial constraints.

PARENTS AS TEACHERS is available in Lucas and Monroe Counties to families with preschool children Youth Work Experience for in-school youth to help prevent drop-outs.
