Eligibility: Open to homeless men, women and families. Special requirements apply to those with mental illnesses, substance abuse issues, and domestic violence concerns. This is not a shelter for those fleeing domestic violence.

Services: The Well Child Center is a community health center dedicated to improving the lives of children and families through education, counseling and services in the areas of childhood nutrition and pediatric dental health. Services include **Nutritional counseling and support including WIC food coupons, lead poisoning screening, and breast feeding counseling, support and education. **Pediatric Dental Services are available for Birth-17 year olds. **Partner locations for WIC services include Greater Elgin Family Care Center -Seneca Street site, Tri-City Salvation Army in St. Charles, in addition to the Well Child Center satellite at Aunt Martha's Youth Service Center in Carpentersville. ** Well Child Center services are provided to both the uninsured and insured individuals *Spanish is spoken.

Eligibility: Limited financial assistance based on an immediate precipitating event. Individuals must reside within the Diocese of Rockford. Assistance has to provide some type of resolution to the emergency, either independently or in collaboration with case management from other social service agencies.
