The Caring Place is an ecumenical Christian, non-profit organization. Its mission is to model the love of Christ by addressing basic spiritual, physical, and social needs of people in Bradley County, Tennessee.

The Caring Place serves individuals who demonstrate that they live at or below the Federal Poverty Guidelines for their family size, possess a picture ID, bring Social Security cards for each family member, and bring in proof of address.  For single adults they are given a 20 pound bag of food once a month.  Households of more than one are given two bags per month.
