Services: Private, non-profit agency which serves the economically and socially disadvantaged by responding to their specific needs, enabling them to become self-sufficient and reach their full potential through individual, social, and educational development.
Services may include, but are not limited to, food commodities, emergency food, energy assistance, limited financial assistance dependent upon funding sources, family development programs, child care referral, special housing programs, weatherization and telephone assistance (you can apply for the telephone assistance program at either Health and Welfare or the Community Action Agency) Other community programs may be available, call your local office for details.
Circles is a community initiative that offers a family who desires to have enough money, friendships and meaning in their life and does not exceed 125% federal income guideline of leaving poverty.
