Livingston Council on Aging has been providing services and aid to the senior citizens of Livingston Parish since 1973.
Five meal sites throughout the parish
Transportation, congregate meals, home delivered meals, chore service, in-home respite, nutritional education, wellness programs, material aid, and legal services through Southeastern Louisiana legal services.

Services: Client Choice Food Pantry: State of the art food pantry designed to encourage clients to make wise nutritional choices by inviting them into a grocery store like setting to shop for their supplemental food commodities.

Family Mentoring Program: Long term case management and volunteer mentoring program designed to help families become more self sufficient over a period of 6-18 months. Financial assistance is provided to those enrolled in the program. The participants must be willing to work on a individualized service plan developed to bring stability in the following areas: financial, housing, and family stability.
Community Education: On-site classes offered to the public - usually Thursday mornings. Classes offered: Financial Literacy, First-Time Home Buyers Class, Beginner Computer, Nutrition, etc. Please call for more information.
Neighboring Initiative: Opportunity for those in the community HOPE serves to volunteer and give back.
Community Referral Services: Local community resources and referral services provided for anyone who expresses a need for a service not provided by HOPE Ministries.
