*Crisis Intervention Fund Recipient - - OVERVIEW: Provides Housing Counseling, Financial Services, Food Pantry assistance, First-time Home Buyers Program, Seniors Program and Neighborhood Development (Rehab Homes). - - SERVICES: - 1) HOUSING SERVICES: Counsels applicants on budgeting and money management. Provides green, affordable, healthy energy-efficient homes for low-to-moderate income homeowners. - - 8) SHEPHERD'S COVE EMERGENCY SHELTER: Provides Emergency Shelter for women and children in Prince George’s County, Maryland. The 100–bed emergency facility is a clean, safe and supportive environment operated by caring professionals. Individuals interested in gaining admittance in the shelter must contact the Prince George's County Homeless Hotline at 1-888-731-0999. Shelter residents will be eligible for three balanced and nutritious meals every day, free fully–equipped day care (for children 6 weeks – 5 years old), after–school program (for children 5 – 12 year old), permanent & transitional housing assistance, education & employment services, transportation assistance, assistance with medical needs and substance abuse support.
