Provides emergency crisis assistance relating to food, utilities, local bus transportation, clothing. Serves Northern Whatcom County residents only. Provides new and used winter jackets through the Coats for Tots program for children in the North Whatcom County public and private schools. Project Hope administers the distribution of Puget Sound Energy Assistance funds to North Whatcom County people who have a shut off notice or service is threatened. They also provide (from their account) emergency funds for: electric, natural gas, propane, kerosene, and firewood when available. Project Hope provides emergency funds for some basic human needs.
