Services: FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Offers assistance with eviction prevention (must have been to court and have disposition), first month's rent (must have acceptance letter with amounts of security deposit & 1st month rent). Does NOT provide security deposit assistance. Financial assistance is based on availability of fund, and only pays a portion of the bill. Assistance is provided once every 12 months. Clients are counseled on finances and budgeting. Even if out of funds then they should still call because they can refer them to their partners. Also, refers clients to community partners for assistance with community resources not offered through the Community Action Agency (CAA), if possible. -
