Barrington Township Office administers General Assistance Programs to township residents which provide ongoing financial and medical assistance to qualifying persons for as long as their need exists. An application can sometimes be expedited if an emergency exists. The Township also offers Emergency Assistance, a separate program providing one time per year assistance to qualifying residents of the Township. Transient Assistance may be available. Food pantry also available to Township residents once per month. Barrington Township includes parts of Barrington, Barrington Hills, Inverness, Hoffman Estates and South Barrington.
