Eligibility: Single or two parent families who are currently homeless or facing eviction with no place to go and are able to answer YES to the following questions: Do you have a verifiable housing emergency (i.e., are homeless or have been issued an eviction notice)? - Do you have 10 OR MORE DAYS to resolve this housing emergency? - Do you have verifiable income or income that will start in the next 30 days? -Are you a resident of Kalamazoo County? - Are you: a. A renter who has been in your current housing for at least 6 mos. and are trying to stay there? OR b. Currently homeless (or are about to be homeless) and have found new housing? - Do you have current and/or past rental history that can be verified by your landlord or caseworker? - Has it been 18 months since you last received financial assistance from HRI?
