Services: Loaves and Fishes Soup Kitchen provides emergency shelter (39 beds) for up to 10 families, for up to three weeks at a time. The short term crisis relief for these families include private rooms, cafeteria style meals, counseling, clothing vouchers, haircuts, diapers, items for personal hygiene and referrals to supporting agencies, as well as referrals to our own Transitional Housing Program. The shelter also offers over night stays for single females, depending on availability.
Eligibility: Must be homeless and have minor children. Pregnant women are also considered a family.

Intended for post-birth counseling only.One-on-one counseling and support for expectant mothers from conception through birth of child.Baby items, toddler clothes up to size 5T as long as supplies last, clothing, diapers up to size 5 as long as supplies last, formula, blankets by appointment. For safe baby bed, education sessions are required.Alpha Center also hosts a clothing closet with maternity, infant, toddler (when available) and newborn clothing.
