Offers the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program formerly known as Section 8 provides housing assistance for very low-income families, the elderly and the disabled, allowing them to live in decent, safe and sanitary housing for eligible participants.  Since housing assistance is provided on behalf of the family, participants are able to find their own housing.
