Giving Tree collects and provides assistance for specific needs including kids coats, baby needs, Christmas gifts, and back to school needs among others. Services: A clearinghouse that first verifies human need, once it is determined that the need is legitimate a referral is made to established public and private agencies. When gaps in services are identified, Love Inc then mobilizes the church to fill those gaps using the talents within their congregations. Some of the needs that can be filled when all other resources are exhausted are: transportation to and from medical appointments, food, adult & child mentoring, emergency shelter, financial assistance, visitation, furniture (by referral), clothing, Christian counseling, etc.
