Information and Assistance: Monitors services that allow homebound elderly to remain in independent living situations.
Congregate and Home-Delivered Meals: Offers nutritionally balanced meals to persons 60 and older in a group setting. Also offers home delivery for individuals with a 60 or older spouse and/or homebound and meals are delivered for people with disabilities.
Employment (Title V: Locates part-time job opportunities for individuals age 55 years and over in St. Mary and Terrebonne Parishes.

Energy Assistance Program: Provides one-time assistance annually for utility bills. Services for this program are coordinated through LIHEAP, FEMA, Helping Hands, Community Action Agency and Co-OP Care for clients 60 yeas or over. Applicants must have proof of income.

Homemaker Services: Provides light housekeeping, preparation of food, non-medical personal care and errand services for the homebound.
Legal Services: Provides legal advice and counseling through Capital Area Legal Service to elderly.
Health Screening: Provides preventive medical services such as blood pressure readings, health education and counseling.
Outreach: Provides a search and identify program for hard to reach individuals to assist them in gaining access to needed services.
Material Aide: Provides material goods such as blankets, electric fans or commodities to the elderly.
Recreation: Provides activities such as sports, trips, games, supervised exercise classes and crafts.
Respite Care: Provides relief to caregivers who attend and care for frail elderly and disabled individuals.
Ombudsman: Addresses nursing home residents rights, complaints of abuse, neglect and exploitation, planning and protective services and public benefit.
Personal Care: Provides personal care services for homebound individuals 60 and older.
