Eligibility: Seniors must be over age 55 and must have picture identification (preferably a state driver's license or I.D. card). People permitted to access the Distribution Center are: Recipients of Food and Nutritional benefits (food stamps); Adult recipients of Medicaid; Adult payees to a child's Medicaid card/benefits; Active cases in program areas approved and referred by Guilford County Dept. of Social Services (DSS).
All eligible individuals must have an approval letter from DSS OR a letter showing your case is active, as well as a valid picture I.D. Medicaid recipients must bring their current Medicaid card.

Eligibility: Valid, current picture I.D. and Social security cards for all household members (copies NOT accepted). For financial assistance, bring the past due/disconnection/eviction notice; it must be in your name. No financial assistance for bills that are already disconnected; there is no money for re-connection fees or rental deposits. Must have proof of all household income (for example - pay stubs, SSI, disability, child support.
Documents To Bring: Call or visit between the hours of 9:00am and 12:00noon. The first time you need assistance, you do NOT need a referral. Any time AFTER the first time, you must have a referral. Food pantry can be used once every 3 months. Clothing vouchers can be used once every three months for a total of three times. After this, individuals can receive one clothing voucher every six months.
